Macor Glass Ceramic Insulation Block

This component is made of Macor machinable glass ceramic, white high performance inorganic material. It can be milled, drilled, tapped and cut with standard CNC machine tools. No secondary sintering is needed after machining to get finished special shaped parts.

Macor Machinable Glass Ceramic Product

First, ultra excellent machinability with Mohs hardness 4 to 5. Complex grooved and notched structures can be precisely finished in one step. It greatly shortens prototype development cycle and reduces additional processing cost for custom projects.

Second, stable thermal performance. Continuous working temperature reaches 800 centigrade with low thermal expansion coefficient. The material maintains high dimensional stability under frequent temperature changes and effectively avoids deformation in high temperature working environments.

Third, reliable electrical insulation. It provides volume resistance up to 1.08E16 Ω cm and dielectric strength above 40KV per mm. It ensures safe and stable insulation protection for electronic vacuum and precision equipment.

Fourth, superior mechanical and chemical properties. Flexural strength exceeds 108MPa and compression strength exceeds 508MPa. Low helium permeability and strong acid alkali resistance extend service life under harsh industrial conditions.
