Different from common thin alumina sheets, YSZ material delivers better resistance to crack propagation. It can sustain limited bending stress during assembly for micro devices. The material has stable performance under normal working temperature and moderate chemical exposure. 
We can provide customized cutting and surface finishing for these ultra thin sheets. Strict thickness inspection is carried out to guarantee dimension consistency.

Feature

This 0.05mm ultra thin YSZ sheet is produced from high purity yttria stabilized zirconia raw powder. Adopted advanced tape casting and high temperature sintering process to realize ultra thin thickness while maintaining material integrity. 
The material retains high fracture toughness from phase transformation toughening mechanism compared with other thin ceramic substrates. It reduces crack risk under mild bending and local stress. 
It shows stable chemical inertness against many weak acid and alkali media, suitable for working environments with slight corrosive substances. 
Fine grain sintered structure provides flat and smooth surface with controllable surface roughness. Consistent thickness tolerance can be achieved for batch production. 
Good electrical insulation performance prevents current leakage in electronic assembly application. Low thermal conductivity supports thermal barrier requirement for micro components. 
Custom size shape and surface treatment options are available according to customer technical drawings.
