Macor Machinable Glass Insulating Shaft

This product is machinable glass ceramic, white solid material. It can be processed by common machine tools to drill, tap, mill and cut without sintering after machining.

Machinable Glass Ceramic Rod

Excellent machinability. Mohs hardness 4-5. Users can achieve complex custom dimensions directly, shorten prototype cycle and reduce secondary processing cost.

High temperature resistance, continuous working temperature below 800°C. Low thermal expansion coefficient 72×10(-7)/°C. It keeps stable dimension under frequent temperature change, avoiding part deformation in high temperature equipment.

Superior insulation property. Dielectric constant 6-7, puncture strength over 40KV/mm. Volume resistance reaches 1.08×10(16) Ω·cm at 25°C. It provides reliable electrical isolation for electronic assemblies.

Good mechanical strength. Flexural strength >108MPa, compression strength >508MPa. Low helium through rate ensures fine vacuum sealing performance for vacuum devices.
