Our quartz products are manufactured from high-purity fused silica with SiO≥99.99%. They feature exceptional high-temperature resistance, stable thermal-shock performance and ultra-low thermal expansion coefficient. Excellent transmittance covers ultraviolet to infrared bands, together with reliable electrical insulation property for rigorous industrial working conditions.

Optical properties of quartz sheets

The optical properties of quartz sheets have their unique features. It can transmit far ultraviolet rays, being the best among all ultraviolet-transmitting materials. It can also transmit visible light and near-infrared spectra. Due to the high temperature resistance, extremely small thermal expansion coefficient, good chemical stability of quartz glass, bubbles, stripes, uniformity, and double refraction can be comparable to ordinary optical glass. Therefore, it is an indispensable optical material for working in various harsh environments, with high stability optical coefficients.

Clear Fused Quartz Plate

We support deep processing services including cutting, polishing and drilling. Custom sizes, thicknesses and shapes are available per customer drawings. Featuring high flatness and smooth surface, our quartz plates are widely applied in laboratory instruments, optical devices and high-temperature furnace sight glasses. OEM & ODM are welcomed, and sample testing is supported prior to mass production.

Cautionary notes for the use of quartz plates:
* Mechanical Properties:
High hardness (Mohs 7) but high brittleness. Avoid impact or local stress (such as uneven clamping).

* Hydrofluoric Acid Corrosion:
Avoid contact with fluorine-containing media. Do not use fluorine-based solutions during cleaning.

* Installation Suggestions:
Use flexible gaskets (such as graphite) to compensate for thermal expansion. The bolts should be evenly stressed.

* Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning Method: Wipe with absolute ethanol or acetone, rinse with ultrapure water, avoid scratching with hard objects
